The Science of Traveling Being Better Than Shopping

Those of us who like travel know it already. The experiences in exploring new things, connecting to new people and sharing your knowledge all become part of our memory. Instead of materials we buy that cannot really be part of us, travelings create much more lasting happiness for us.

"One of the enemies of happiness is adaptation," says Dr. Thomas Gilovich, a psychology professor at Cornell University who has been studying the question of money and happiness for over two decades. "We buy things to make us happy, and we succeed. But only for a while. New things are exciting to us at first, but then we adapt to them." Source

I believe traveling to see and experience the deep culture, seeing awesome scenes from nature that our home towns do not offer and connecting with local people are far better than just go and shop in another town. That's why this blog is named as Earth and Travel instead of Shop and Travel!

Enjoy your travel! is a blog dedicated to search and refer great Travel and Nature related content from the Internet in addition to our own editorial content. We respect IP right and will link content back to original source.
